Encore is our optional WhatsApp group exclusively for members of the Birmingham Ballet Association. It brings together dancers from all three of our locations and across all four weekly class nights, so you can connect with the whole association family in one place.

It is a friendly and positive space where we chat, share laughs and post uplifting or fun things we have seen online. We give and receive kind feedback, motivation and encouragement after every session. You can also share news about local ballet-related events and performances, or find out what is happening nearby.

We organise a wonderful range of social activities too, including trips to the Royal Opera House, live ballet screenings at the cinema and relaxed coffee catch-ups just for a chat. These gatherings are open to everyone and are not strictly limited to ballet topics, so there is always something to enjoy.

Encore means your time with us is about so much more than just the class. It is an opportunity to build real friendships, be part of a caring community and have a positive, uplifting space to turn to whenever you need it. We look out for one another, celebrate every step of progress and share our love of dance and time together.

Joining is completely free and entirely optional — Alex will offer the link out to those registered on the course once the course has started.
